Dorking is situated south of Junction 9 of the M25 at Leatherhead, with the A24 / A25 intersection at the landmark Dorking Cockerel roundabout. This connects the town to Leatherhead, Guildford, Reigate, Redhill and Horsham. Gatwick Airport is approximately 13 miles to the south east.

With Dorking mainline station providing regular services to Central London, and Dorking West and Dorking Deepdene Stations connecting Guildford and Reading to Redhill with connections onto Gatwick Airport, the town is very well served for public transport. These rail services provide access for staff and visitors to and from the town from north, south, east and west, with a number of local bus routes connecting the town and local area. The catchment area for staff is therefore extensive.
